What the reviews are.
Pheromone Scout publishes scored editorial reviews of pheromone fragrances. The scores and written assessments are the opinion of independent editors working against a published methodology. They are not scientific conclusions and they are not professional recommendations.
We do our best to ground claims in published research and to flag where the evidence is thin. The methodology page explains exactly how scores are built. But the reviews are ultimately editorial judgment, and you should treat them as such.
Pheromone fragrances are contested.
The science of human chemical signaling is real but heavily contested. Laboratory findings involving isolated compounds don't reliably translate to wearable consumer products. No pheromone fragrance brand can guarantee behavioral effects on other people, and neither can Pheromone Scout.
When a review references buyer reception data or observed effects from user accounts, those are self-reported and not controlled outcomes. We cite them as one input among several, not as proof of efficacy. The research section of the scoring methodology explains how formulation evidence is weighted.

Nothing on this site is medical advice. Pheromone fragrances are cosmetic products. If you have allergies, skin conditions, or sensitivities, consult a qualified professional before using any fragrance product. Pheromone Scout takes no responsibility for reactions to products discussed on the site.

The newsletter sign-up form collects your email address for the sole purpose of sending the Scout Dispatch. Submitting your address is entirely voluntary. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. See the privacy policy for full details on how that data is handled.

You may quote brief passages for commentary or criticism with attribution to pheromonescout.com. Scores and product data are updated when formulations change, when new research is relevant, or when pricing data shifts. We don't guarantee that any given page reflects current availability or price. Verify with the merchant before purchasing.

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
