Pheromone Treasures sells its single molecules the way the community likes them: unscented, clearly labeled, at a stated 1mg/ml in a 10ml dropper. Alpha Androstenol is the social one, the compound tied to approachability, easy conversation and an open aura.
As one molecule, it's a building block, not a finished scent. DIY mixers add a little to make a blend friendlier and more sociable, or to soften a harsher androstenone-forward base. Androstenol is forgiving, one of the lower-risk molecules to experiment with.
The transparency and fair price make it a sensible staple for anyone building their own blends. If you just want something to wear, start with one of the brand's finished colognes instead.
