Our testing notes.
Alpha 7 has a distinctive reputation in the community: Pherotruth veterans consistently call it underrated. It's been in experienced users' rotations for over a decade, and the endorsements are frank and specific rather than vague. The core quality is what forum regulars call 'soft androstenone.' The seven-compound formula produces the alpha-status and social authority of androstenone products, but without the harsh, intimidating edge that makes straight androstenone hard to manage in professional or mixed social settings.
The forum's clearest take comes from one veteran: 'The strongest weapon in my armoury is Alpha 7. Because it's so strong, not very versatile — only use it around mature females. When it hits, feels like A314 on crack with a bonus: the slow-burn sexuality slowly creeping on them. You need time.' That slow-burn, mature-target profile is consistent across multiple independent reviewers.
This stuff spreads extremely well. Two drops on the wrist was WAY too much... My wife literally moved across the room and demanded I do something about it.
Dosing is the critical variable. The dropper format means you control the amount precisely, and the community consensus is that 1 drop is the functional dose. 2 drops is the high end experienced users attempt, and it can push into overdose territory. The scented version (cinnamon) is hard to cover, while the unscented version is much easier to layer.
The only meaningful caveat is the reformulation question. Veterans occasionally note that something feels different about more recent bottles compared with the product they used years ago. This concern is less definitive than the NPA reformulation debate, but it exists.
